Julia Verne’s co-edited volume “Cargoes in Motion: Materiality and Connectivity Across the Indian Ocean” is now available in open-access.

Firstly published in 2023, the edited volume can now be accessed free of charge! The different contributions deal with the mobility and materiality of freight in the Indian Ocean World, tracing various goods through the maritime space to highlight their regional interconnectedness.
